< << Question: How Can I Become a Member of MCC ? >> >

If you are interested in becoming a member of MCC, we ask you to do three things:

STEP ONE: Get to know us! After visiting us, you should take some time to get to know us, what we believe, and what we do as a church. We also want the chance to get to know you better! One of the best ways you can get to know our members is by attending one of our Bible studies, and we recommend that you do this for several weeks before deciding whether or not to join MCC.

STEP TWO: Make your intentions clear! After you are sure that God is calling you to join this church, you can let us know that you want to become a member by telling us on an Sunday or at any of our Bible studies. We would also appreciate it if you can take a little time to visit with one of our church's servant leaders, to give us the chance to get to know you better and to pray with you.

STEP THREE: Make a commitment! It is important for a church to know exactly who their members are, and who is a sincere and committed member of that church. That is why it is important for every person who wants to become a member of MCC to attend our Welcome to the Family class. This is a seminar that will help you and other new members come to a full understanding of what we believe and what we do as a church. It also gives you the chance to ask any questions you still have. This class is offered on a regular basis throughout the year. All baptized believers in Christ who have attended this Welcome Class are then asked to sign a "Membership Covenant" if they want to be a member of this church. This agreement is a simple statement of faith and commitment, and reminds us all that the decision to join together as a church is a covenant to be one body, united in Christ.
